We are currently hiring a Lead Integration Engineer located at our Enterprise Resource Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a Lead Integration Engineer, you’ll be an integral team member within our Enterprise Data & Analytics team who’s goal is to support our business in our data evolution by creating continuous data value and providing solutions that help achieve goals and objectives.

A successful Lead Integration Engineer is a thought-leader and problem solver who will use their acquired architecture and business acumen skills to provide solutions, establish new capabilities and provide technical leadership and expertise on a variety of enterprise improvements and initiatives, including the creation of system integration guidelines, standards, patterns, and common services. As a Lead Integration Engineer, you’ll also utilize your knowledge and advanced understanding of various Data Management Methodologies and understand when they should be leveraged.

Additional Responsibilities:
Document and implement best practices, development standards for SAP Data Services and SAP Smart Data Integration
Experienced in Enterprise data integration/ETL technologies, specifically SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP Smart Data Integration and a plus would be SAP Information Steward experience. Reference…enterprise data inte/ETL, informatica, IBMData stage.
Extensive experience in accurately planning and estimating work effort for requirements of all sizes and complexity
Develop strategic capabilities around reuse e.g., business and transformation rule libraries, data quality trending and score carding, etc.
Develop the integration methodology including standard deliverables source to target mapping spec, data lineage, etc.
Develop, manage, and maintain the integration implementation inventory establishing a blueprint of sources of entry, sources of record and how data flows through the enterprise.
Works closely with Enterprise Architecture to define, communicate, and document the strategies, patterns, standards, and technologies supporting the enterprise integration architecture.
Defines conceptual, logical, and physical plans to make progress as we move from current to future state.
Leads the design and development, of repeatable integration patterns, based on use case or business requirement.
Leads the assessment of the existing integration environment to detect critical deficiencies followed by a roadmap to address issues based on priority
Supports the Enterprise Data & Analytics department in defining metrics to measure and demonstrate integration growth and value

Basic Qualifications
B.S degree in computer science or IT discipline with at least seven (7) years of experience with integration design, build, and architecture including data integration
In lieu of BS degree, 10 years of experience with integration design, build, and architecture including data integration
Experience with Relational Database Management Systems, batch integration (ETL) and Services Oriented Integration (SOA)

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications)
Experience within high performance materials manufacturing

Must possess the ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Must possess skills/abilities in the following:
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
Ability to solve complex problems through non-standard solutioning that requires independent analysis and deductive reasoning.
Ability to clearly communicate ambiguous concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Ability to understand the big picture and align the day-to-day activities to support that picture
Ability to estimate the time, effort, and impact of data integration requirements
Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems
Ability to quickly comprehend the function and capabilities of new technologies
Ability to work with limited supervision
