Full-Time Technical Program Manager – Product Engineering

Job Description

In this role, you will provide project management and program oversight for the development and enhancement of the Anitian suite of products.  You will manage project tasks, set deadlines, and hold team members accountable.  You will execute against product roadmaps, maintain artifacts, and collaborate with Engineering and Security Operations teams.  Ideally, you have experience in managing complex software development projects with deployment in AWS and/or Azure for the delivery of new products and customer facing services.

Program/Project Management – 50%

  • Ensure projects and programs meet objectives and delivery timelines
  • Responsible for handling all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery
  • Manage all project information, scope, feature definition and project documentation through: Project Plans, Charters, WBS, RFI’s, Project Status/Reports and Metrics
  • Track and manage risks, action items, issues and decisions
  • Coordinate project logistics and details and ensure project delivery with high quality
  • Coordinate project stakeholder involvement, motivation and support
  • Work closely with Compliance, DevOps, App Dev and SecOps teams to drive the planning and execution of client-facing and internal projects
  • Maintain project portfolio, and manage multiple client-facing and internal projects simultaneously
  • Agile Product/Project management using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps and Smartsheet
  • Utilize appropriate Project Management tools and techniques
  • Optimize Program and Project Management processes and procedures

Product Owner – 50%

  • Support strategic efforts that align with Vision/Roadmap planning
  • Support leadership in defining product capabilities
  • Work closely with Product Management and Senior Management in order to fulfill products that fit the company portfolio
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience, integration and dependencies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept/designing of the product
  • Gather and create product backlog items for product requirements (Personas, Use Cases, User Stories and Feature Definition) to guide Dev team
  • Be an End-User/Customer advocate during development cycles
  • Prioritize customer facing user stories with regular backlog refinement
  • Help to maintain story acceptance, defect management and release tracking
  • Attend Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Daily Standups) as needed in close collaboration with Dev team
  • Increase an understanding of Agile practices and new technology opportunities and trends

  • 2+ years in a project or product management role, preferably in cloud services
  • 2+ years working in a Product Engineering environment
  • Experience with Security and/or Compliance projects a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with full SDLC, including best practices
  • Knowledgeable practitioner of Agile methodology
  • Deep understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD
  • Cloud integration expertise, particularly with AWS and Azure
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and hold team members accountable
  • Excellent organizational and management skills
  • Outstanding communication abilities, written and verbal
  • Diplomacy skills, able to encourage and inspire a diverse group of people
  • Knowledge of information security principles
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and personal commitment to results
  • Ability to be productive and successful without close supervision

Education, Certifications and Training

  • Four-year degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred
  • Training in Agile methodology (CSPO a plus, but not required)
  • AWS and/or Azure Certifications a plus

INTERVIEW PROCESS: Only 1 round interview on video (zoom) with team; Candidate should setup their dev environment and be able to showcase their skills during interview.


Java, Spring Framework, React/Angular, Postgres, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2 etc.).
Experience developing microservices.
